They were soldiers, once
What is this with the reports of two Canadian soldiers wounded in the Sinai this week? I have never seen a series of media reports that went so far out of their way to deny a couple injured military professionals their proper due.
This story, for instance, never even uses the word "soldiers." For the record, they are a sergeant and master corporal. You know we will finally have reached gender integration in Western militaries when that fact is mentioned in the story before their gender.
On the other hand, the New York Times got their gender wrong.
