BOY IT'S QUIET ON THE BLOGS TODAY

Must be that American Revolution thing... a time where earnest American patriots, led by Mel Gibson, fought and gave their lives in the earnest wish that hundreds of years from now, their descendants not have to grow up as... Canadians. Ahem.

(Speaking of movies of early America, I'm still trying to figure out why both "The Patriot" and "The Last of the Mohicans" can both play fast and loose with historical truth, but the former is unmitigated crap, and the latter is a modern classic that only grows with the viewing.)
